Dan Yahnian, DDS

Dan Yahnian, DDS, is an advanced general dentist at Capitol Premier Dental Group in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Yahnian has been serving patients in the Denver area since 1992, providing compassionate dental care to individuals and their loved ones. He is dedicated to meeting patient’s needs with sincerity, understanding, and professionalism. Dr. Yahnian completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry, with an emphasis in mathematics and biology, in 1986. He then pursued his dental education at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. He has produced extensive research in microbiology, focusing on the nature of cavities, and presented his work at the Rocky Mountain Branch of the American Society for Microbiology as well as The Forsyth Institute. He is also a lifetime member of the Delta Sigma Delta, one of the oldest dental fraternities. Dr. Yahnian has been recognized by several organizations, receiving awards for “providing excellent preventive care and outstanding services to patients” and his “excellence in radiology.” Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yahnian is a professional photographer, whose work has been published in trade journals and magazines on six continents. He is also the host of a podcast, serving the entertainment and photographic fields.

Dr. Heather Hong

Dr. Heather Hong was born and raised in Southern California where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in physiological science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco. During her time in the Bay area, she was the director of the Community Dental Clinic which serves homeless, members of substance recovery programs and victims of abuse. She later received her specialty training in periodontology and Master of Medical Sciences degree in oral biology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While living in Boston, Dr. Hong conducted research in the area of bone regeneration in preparation for dental implants. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. Heather is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Heather is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. She and her husband Michael love to hike, cook, and watch movies.

Dr. Russell Yancey

Dr. Russell Yancey has been a practicing dentist and anesthesia provider since 2011. He is a highly trained Dentist Anesthesiologist and provides an array of comprehensive services and procedures within the field.

Dr. Eduardo Garcia

Dr. Garcia is originally from Venezuela, where he attended Dental School at Universidad Santa Maria graduating in 2006, and completed his Orthodontic residency at the Universidad de Carabobo and graduated in 2010. During Dental School he met his amazing and talented wife Gabriela, and together they have 2 boys: Gabriel and Luis. Since 2020 they’ve lived in Colorado. Dr. Garcia graduated from the International Student Program at the University of Colorado in 2022 with his DDS. He enjoys practicing soccer, karate, as well as hiking and camping with his family. As an international member of the American Association of Orthodontics, World Federation of Orthodontics and the Metro Denver Dental Society, he’s committed to high quality dental care, promoting a warm and caring environment in the office.
